They have so many superb songs within their classic albums :]

I'd probably 4 if their albums had more than 3 superb songs. Liking them more would help too.

List needs some edit, but all my top 3 songs remain the same. Have fun!

Awesome list Jethro mate! Really not that different from mine probably. Album and song rankings aside at a glance I'd just do something like this for the picks:

trade Limelight for The Camera Eye

trade The Big Money for Middletown Dreams

make Counterparts something like Animate, Everyday Glory, Monkey Business

slip One Little Victory somewhere in

slip Armor and Sword somewhere in

make Presto something like Available Light, Red Tide, The Pass

trade Resist for Test t/t

"First 3 are the best yeah."

Natural Science is not in the first 3 so hard neck

I couldn't disagree for ''The Camera Eye'' and album Presto. I'm curious about your Counterparts picks. For pretty much all the rest, I have to listen again, but I doubt I would change something. I've selected my songs with precaution. Hold on, I'll soon be listening to your songs choice. Cheers buddy.

Rush offers so much more than their prog era. Considering them a 'prog band' only reveals the tip of the iceberg if you will.

For me, their best stuff, came after their prog era. Band has made music for 40+ years. Only the first 8-10 years were prog really.

80's Rush tops all.

I really doubt that. Grace Under Pressure was rather dull and the rest probably doesn't get much better.

So you at least admit that you haven't heard it all?

No bar a few tracks of Power Windows. But if it's a phase where they continuously dilute their sound with new wave and pop rock then I can't imagine it's much fun.

If you ever choose to venture out, try:

Animate

Bravado

Available Light

Between The Wheels

The Garden

All gems...

I liked some of the songs of that Counterparts album when I was younger. It probably is ok.
