I agree. I feel like to gain true acceptance into certain social groups you had to dress/act like they did ("conform" if you will)



but do you notice how fast that notion falls away once you graduate from highschool? you get the "jocks" hanging with the "nerds" the "indie kids" hanging with "hippies" or what ever the fuck else there is. It's great.
