Indeed.

This is one of the most perfect albums that I can think of.

I can't even nitpick.

Back when I had my last long-term girlfriend, we'd get crazy to all kinds of stuff. We'd go from Chopin and Sigur Rós to Mastodon and Günther.

Listened to this twice today and it's way less of a thrilling experience than Mirage and The

Snow Goose... it has its moments, but in some cases it even dives into the territory of "generic

70s prog" so I kind of don't get how it's so highly acclaimed on here.

(I expect a lot of annoying and angry users to tell me i'm wrong, but whatever...)

lol

How is this generic 70's prog and Mirage isn't? If anything Mirage is more typical of 70's prog rock than this.

Definitely prefer this to Mirage. The Snow Goose comes pretty close to this though.

I don't know, Mirage was really fun and exciting and had that desert feel to it.

"Supertwister" and "Lady Fantasy" were particularly amazing.

I liked Moonmadness, but a a few tracks failed to stand out at all... "Song Within a Song" and "Lunar Sea" were great though.

Chord Change is best.

This has a totally different vibe to Mirage of course but it's certainly not more generic, that's just ridiculous.

I liked "Chord Change" a lot too.

But like "Spirit of the Water" "Another Night" and "Air Born" didn't do much for me.

Love all of those more than a couple of songs on Mirage.

I can see why Ars wouldn't dig this as much as many of us, since he seems to be more into the upbeat side of prog.

Which makes me ask myself why he's such a big Floyd fan.

Guys, I 3.5'd this, I didn't like 2.5 it. So I do like it.

Any Danny, listen to One Size Fits All already!

This is more consistent that Mirage though.
