I also could see you digging Happy the Man s/t and Happy the Man - Crafty Hands. I'm not sure, I will confirm you, but I think they sound like The Enid here and there, especially the s/t.
Edit; Now that I listen to the s/t, it's possibly them. The fact is I recently listened to something really reminiscent of The Enid lately. I'm pretty sure it's these guys. I'm still asking myself though.

Disc 1 is amazing, still haven't heard Disc 2 in full.

You're missing out dude, it's near enough equally amazing as the first. In fact I might have even grown to prefer the second disc.

Have to hear it soon, but I've been on an R.E.M. rerun lately.

JamieTwort, I think you're right. All Lamb... is great but I also prefer disc 2.
About the Hungarian band After Crying, you must listen to them. The guys are great. They create an extremely complex and moody music. There is a huge variety of styles in their music. Some times is dark, yet beautiful with a clam atmosphere, other has a more consistent sound. Probably the most known influence are ELP, mainly on the Hammond passages. You must listen them really.

You nailed it for After Crying, e21.
@KILL, yes, After Crying can be weird from time to time, but it doesn't mean they don't deliver. They change the mood quite often (alterning from classical to eclectic or sympho prog) and so it can be hard to swallow after only one listen. The first two albums are a good place to start.
Also, my ''fly agaric days'' was my natural state of mind.

I'll be honest, when I read that a prog band is mainly inspired by ELP it becomes an instant turnoff
