Kveldssanger on its own is an excellent album. cannot be compared to the two black metal albums.

oh i think it can, it's one part of the trilogy. obviously it's musically different but the atmosphere is quite the same, as is the folk sound of bergtatt and that album. after bergtatt the band just made the trilogy go two completely separate ways

acoustics tracks maybe...they do have similar atmosphere. But ulver couldn't possibly create a neo-folk album that can be compared with the intensity and power of the two black metal albums. Not with the style they went with.
