Honestly I think this is their best. You Are There is good from what I remember but I need to revisit it. I've tried to get into their newer stuff but it's not nearly on the same level as this album. As far as I'm concerned this is the essential MONO record

new song "after you comes the flood". sounds like what you expect a new mono song to sound like -- all rock instrumentation built around a single melody. though the energy of the song feels somewhat different to before as they have a new drummer.

My sole exposure to MONO was a live experience when they played with Alcest in my hometown. They were incredible, but the concert felt like it only took 5 minutes and I never really listened to them once I got home. I really liked the new singles so decided to give this a spin...
This might be my first solid 5 after a 1st listen. Holy crap this is amazing!
