"MTV unplugged was solid tho" I do agree with that tho. But the normal studio recordings are really not for me for some reason. Liked them as a kid.

I don't think the hype for Nirvana will ever go away tbh, band is still pretty popular amongst younger people. Things like Something in the Way being in the new Batman Film contribute to this.

Nirvana was obviously average music industry swill, no question about it, but Kurt and the lot had good taste and gave a lot of really good bands coverage that they might not otherwise have had.

Yeah, there's truth to that. Sometimes I wonder how things would have gone if Kurt had indulged in all of his more obscure influences; In Utero provided hints of that, but I wish we could have gotten more of it during his lifetime
