I just love the vocals on here. I love the shrieks (which aren’t too different from a 2nd wave black metal vocal), love the gutterals.

Tf you mean? The producer recorded them like a jazz group. I think the drums sound crisp and organic. The guitar is powerful and tastefully layered, without betraying the fact that there’s no bassist. Honestly this is one of the BEST produced grind records around, if you ask me.

Tbh I always felt this was kind of glossy and overproduced and that jouhou sounded better. Like that album had more fitting grind production

Jouhou and this are a cut above most grind. I agree that Jouhou sounded heavier, but the even more atypical songwriting here just takes it up a notch in quality though. Definitely an audiophile's record, like imagine how pretty the overpriced, limited vinyl looks in a collection and how awesome this motherfucker must SOUND on a turntable hooked up to a nice system. Heaven lmao
