Due to certain events i decided to relisten to Prayer for a refugee for the first time in a long time. This era of rise against really hit in the right spot to me. I want a hardcore version of prayer in the vein of a Birds in row kinda vocals. Everything after this record that's politically charged doesnt really hit as hard to me.

Agreed

in that politically even musically they didn’t hit the important to this chorus but also didn’t make timeless

also that’s nobody’s job except being timeless

Some of the stuff from RPM is also just gold. Its like their anger at things just burnt out and became phoned in to a degree.

Not a single bad track on this. Shits nearly 16 years old and still goes hard.

Yeah it is. I still remember as a 16 year old walking to the Genet record store in Ghent in the summer vacation to pick up a copy of this and Ignite’s Our Darkest Days.

Good times.
