This was probably the first album that I ever actively listened to.

It's funny to realize in retrospect that this inadvertently introduced me to shoegaze in the form of Chinese Sleep Chant. To this day it annoys me that they tacked it onto the end of Yes as a hidden track in the middle of the album for no apparent reason.

There are no worst songs Sowing

Only thing I would ever consider is replacing Cemeteries of London with Rainy Day

Cemeteries of London is the best song this band ever wrote, or is at least in the top 5.

I just saw the video for Strawberry Swing. I don't know how I'd missed it for so long. But it rules, and the song rules.

Haha, so true. I’ve been a little ‘kinder’ however.

Edit: my Coldplay ratings are a bit too even actually, need to sort.

Remember when Strawberry Swing was scientifically proving as one of the most relaxing songs of all time

too bad they are continuing to do everything to shit on their legacy because I just went back to this album and it's so full of color and life, it almost made me forget why I hate them now.

Disagree hard, especially if compared to everything they put out after this last flash of brilliance.

Ya'll need to blend the best of Prospekt's March with this album like I did, and spin it like a stone cold classic every time:

1. Life in Technicolor II

2. Viva La Vida

3. Rainy Day

4. Postcards From Far Away

5. Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love

6. Violet Hill

7. Prospekt's March/Poppyfields

8. Yes

9. Glass of Water

10. Strawberry Swing

11. Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground

12. Death and All His Friends
