Everblack is my personal favorite, but yeah, this band is insanely consistent. Nothing they've released is short of great, honestly

"I was at a tour where they played this in full, but my friends didn't wanna stay for them unless I did, and I just said fuck it let's go lol"

why would you do that

that's just silly

Stupidity, clearly.

We went there for whoever opened for them (so many shows I can't remember at this point) and I didn't wanna make my friends stay esp if they didn't like the band. Plus I just figured since we all liked the same shit, it wasn't really a big deal.

But like I said, I obv wasn't aware at the time that neither of my friends had listened to them, so dumb assumption on my part. Normally if I/we don't know a band we at least check out the first few songs, and the one time we don't I end up regretting it. Won't make that mistake again lol

Def looking forward to jamming the rest of their stuff. I jammed Unhallowed last night and it didn't hit me as hard as this or Nightbringers.

Jamming it again now though then going for Miasma. This dude's vocals are so fucking sick dude.

Was it at Summer Slaughter 2017? Because that means you chose a bunch of core bands over tbdm lmfao

Holy fuck. I saw this band when Ritual was new. Still one of the best performances I've seen.

Enjoy going through the discog hexfix, they all slap.

No, we went there for Origin and Dying Fetus. Neither of those are metalcore/deathcore bands lol. Everything else on that lineup was terrible though. TBDM always gets grouped with those shitty bands so like I said -- really didn't know what I was missing out on.

I'm not particularly fond of Origin or their brand of tech death but they're sick live, and I like Dying Fetus. After hearing TBDM, I definitely would've preferred seeing them play this over either of those two bands.

Summer Slaughter used to be so much better, until they started getting more and more xcorex every year.

Theyve always had some, but it used to be mostly "real" death metal bands.

Well maybe not as much as i remember looking back on older SS tours. But i did notice a general decline in line-up quality over the years.
