lmao the name, artwork, and track name stylings are leaning heavy into zoomer aesthetics
not even saying that as a bad thing i find it really interesting. has a metal band this old ever been this hip to younger audiences? adrenaline turns fucking 30 this year.
...and if you really want to feel old, the release of diamond eyes is now closer to adrenaline than it is to modern day.

Yeah they leaked album art, album title and tracklist before any official announcement was made. So chances are these Deftones leaks are legit. You can check it out here:

Right, but what I'm saying is that the leak for that single/album/whatever (not to mention that band is much, much smaller than Deftones) was within the same month. It looks like March '24.
Which is a lot different than July -> August, again, especially for a legacy-band the size of Deftones

Swag just move past it man. Your whole idea that this would be a slow rollout isn't happening. This is a 30 year old band. They don't have the clout, on a large scale, to deserve an album rollout beyond 2 or 3 months. Nor would anyone who are fans of the band give a shit about a quick turnaround from announcement to release.
