"But Tool isn't really guitar music."
hey, over to you still on this one champ, i wanna hear this
|

Album bores me after awhile which is the case for some other Tool stuff, but this album in particular is very one-note imo. There's no dynamics, i know others disagree but I don't hear much in the way of different tones or sounds. It's like one long song.

The album starts like a house of fire but fades pretty badly as it goes on. Pneuma being my fave but most of it is rather forgettable imo.

Meh. It’s a great fucking album. Still surprised by the relative indifference towards it on this site. Descending, Invincible, Pneuma And the t/t are fantastic.

I can see why some love it and why some hate it. I really am inbetween on this one. It's like they've peaked and now trying to recapture their identity imo. I can't help but feel there's something missing. The interludes didn't add anything other than disjoint it a bit as well.

"Most important album for years."
So true. You speak wisely.
|
| |
will it be positively important or negatively important though
cuz right now it's both
|
| |
The epimusical parts of this (release circumstances etc) are far more important than its actual content...but they are fairly significant

>will it be positively important or negatively important though
There are more than two facets to this. You need to expand your mind, then you will understand the multidimensionality of these mind structures.

Importance is some ambivalent shit yo
