Steven Universe is cool, my interest for it died down when the plot just turned out to be a stock 'good vs evil' story, but eh.
Also, dunno where you've been but Cartoon Network's current line up is amazing save for one or two shows. Regular Show is still pretty strong, Amazing World of Gumball is basically the reincarnation of Spongebob's first three seasons, We Bare Bears is adorable, Clarence is pretty decent, and Over the Garden Wall was amazing.

adventure time decided half way into season 5 to start taking itself seriously and aim for a serialized plot separated into mini-arcs but they forgot that any time they tried to take themselves seriously in the past it backfired horribly so then you just had 20 episodes that went out of their way to make every character unlikable, create a lot of plot lines that were then dropped, and just generally be terrible.
People say that season 7 fixed things, and all of season 6 was dedicated to fixing what they had screwed up, but i don't believe it.

Out of all of those, i'd try out Over the Garden Wall. Its a 10 episode mini series and its one of the best ever.

Harvey Beaks is a pretty cute/funny slice of life show that I enjoy a lot. They also have this new show called The Loud House that people are saying is pretty good, but I havent seen it.

If were talking about modern day cartoons, I gotta say Gumball is really underrated. The show is really amazing based on it's animation/art alone. I super appreciate how they combine dozens of different forms of media, art styles, and whatever and it all works wonderfully. Plus it's a genuinely funny show. Might be the 2nd best full series CN has going rn

I just really like when animation goes the path less followed when it comes to art styles. For example, I gotta give props to Laika studios for keeping stop-motion animation alive in the mainstream. That Kubo and the Two Strings movie looks amazing from the trailers I've seen, definitely the most hyped I've been for an upcoming film in a while.
