A third guitar would seem significant.

They got a third guitar player? If so then it didn't change much tbh

They got THE third guitar player, which in fact was the second, since Adrian Smith was there before Janick Gers. Instead of firing anyone they became a triple axe attack.

I knew this was a comeback for Dickinson and Smith, but I didn't know they keept the other guitarist. I wonder if their sound changed a bit on later albums

The joke always was that Janick's amp was unplugged once Adrian returned. He must've been a good mate so they kept him around haha...

he's the most entertaining part of their live show, imo.

This can indeed compete with their 80s material

GuyMan dude I'd have to give that to Bruce. From an energy standpoint though, Janick isn't too far behind him.

Also, there are a few songs here where the triple axe attack shines and there are 3 guitar voices audible, even beyond twin guitar solos with accompanying rhythm guitar, 'The Nomad' and 'Thin line between love and hate' for example. But yeah, overall that third guitar changed less than one would assume...

Blood Brothers is great.
They had these one lyric line choruses since forever, I know, but they took it to another level here lol. I can see why that doesn't appeal to some

Best of their reunion albums hands down. So many bangers on here that rivals their classic era.

The build in that track is so fucking powerful. Out of the Silent Planet has been picking up steam for me the past few years, but T/T probably still takes the cake for me.
Whole thing fuckin' bangs though.
