Invincible is underrated imo, the solo is just killer too

In other news, the KOBK mastering sounds pretty good, except for the guitars in the pre-chorus.

I think I gotta drop my rating for this album. If you remove Exo-Politics(admittedly a masterpiece), nothing here holds up to OoS or Absolution...

The moment my love for them died was when I went to college and realized just how hokey and overdramatic all of their music is - even the "classic albums". Sucks, because I loved their first four albums in high school, but I can't listen to any of them anymore... mostly because of Matt's vocals tbh

I used to be obsessed with this band when I was 15, I don't think any band has fallen off harder for me, I hardly listen to them now

'This was the point that my love for Muse died.'

The Resistance for me, although on (more) recent inspection this one certainly didn't hold up all that well. Giving it the benefit of the doubt for memories sake with a kind and considered 3.

Starlight was balls though, I guess that was the 'moment' if you want to get into the specifics. I really did love the Assassin, Exo Politics, City of Delusion trifecta back in the day and honestly those ones are still alright.

I don't know if I can stomach checking again to see if anything's changed, my heart can't take it.

Bloc party and Muse are tied for me. I think bloc party is more annoying because their first three albums are better than the first muse albums, and their new stuff is worse than muses new stuff.

"They were still excellent here. The Resistance is where they died and I entirely blame Twilight." Yeah that was the final nail in the coffin for me. I actually liked the weird symphony suite at the end of it though.

Ah man, don't like this half as much as I remember. There's some great songs, but Matt's vocals make me feel uncomfortable for some reason. Like they're a bit too much on this. Genuinely enjoying the new album more, as goofy as it is lol

Map of the Problematique is probably my favourite off this actually. Used to love Knights of Cydonia but the first half feels quite tedious, I just want to fast forward to the good bit lol. Assassin goes pretty hard too!
