I think upon relistening to this and Obsidian back to back I think one of the more underrated aspects of this is how everything flows and feels connected. I like Obsidian but that album kinda suffers from being scattered and all over the place in tone and sound. Not only that but the electronic elements here really help set the mood more than they do on Obsidian.

Still nuts that Northlane shifted to Alt-Metal about 4 years before everyone else started too and hit a home run immediately. Even more so when you consider they did it as a last ditch effort to keep the band alive.
