fwiw i know a lot of people don’t like it but i will defend into the vanishing light to the death. that was a daring album especially compared to the absolute dreck that other PHC bands like letlive and too close to touch were putting out at the time

@toomanyfriends: hard agree. Into the Vanishing Light is amazing.
but I did not like LYE that much, a little too repetitive (+ too long) and you can clearly see on Gallery that it kinda restricted the instrumental creativity. I am pretty content with the way they chose - maybe another Into the Vanishing Light would be cool.

Just came home from their show in Cologne...very small venue, no support act but such an amazing sound and the crowd went wild. Easily one of the best performances I've ever seen. Catch these guys live if you can
and when they finished and the crowd cheered for one more song they said "we haven't practiced any other songs". but the cheering wouldn't stop so Aric said "we can make one up if you promise not to go away and move around" - so they just improvised another badass song. top notch musicians
