Reading into the lyrics a little bit more, I feel terrible for Jesse. You can tell that he's been struggling with mental illness for a while now, and it's quite apparent how defeated and hopeless he is on this record.

@Shaq - just ignore the hype and try to listen unbiasedly (as much as you can with this hype machine of a band). I suggest two listens before you really start to produce an opinion though. I was taken aback upon my first listen and am already loving it on listen #2 and onward.
