I think with stronger production this album wouldn't be THAT bad. There are some parts that really are vintage In Flames (solo of In My Room, second half of the bridge in Underneath My Skin), but the weak mix just makes them sound so flaccid as to be unnoticeable. What a waste.

The amount Anders sounds like Spencer Chamberlain from U/O on this, is... disconcerting.

But some of the tracks are good/slightly work?

The first five are the weakest, and the last half is a major mixed bag where any of the candy that's left is just dependent on if it is stale or staler.

Wallflower and Save Me are two songs I liked most enough. First bonus track is cool too though.
