Agreed! Though dislike is harsh. I tend to skip it, but can enjoy it a little bit if I listen.

Bought a Bride is a banger y'all are silly. Weirdly I never clicked with In A Jar, but this confuses me because that song is ace on paper

I dislike "Bought A Bride" because for me it totally destroys the flow of the album. As a song of itself it is okay I guess. But when listen to this album it kinda sucks compared to the other gems

This confuses me a lot - it works super well as a follow-on from Sink's rock clamour with less pronounced dynamics, ending up as something of a short-term burnout of that style that frames the t/t perfectly, no? If anything, it's better in sequence than as a standalone

Bought a Bride is amazing and also one of my least favorite songs on Daisy

Yes, I realize that is confusing

for real though I hated bought a bride at first because I thought the chorus was shitty ("booouuught a briiiideee") but it was mostly because I didn't read into the surrounding lyrics which are all amazing, as are the instrumentals. it's still below vices, at the bottom, gasoline, you stole, sink, daisy, in a jar, and noro - but ranks above bed and be gone.

it's like a 4/5 track on an album where almost every song is a 4.5 or 5 lol

I'd probably put Bought a Bride above In a Jar. Maybe even At the Bottom (surprisingly one of the tracks I think is supremely overrated on Daisy). I do love Bed, though, and would maybe even put that in my Top 5 on Daisy (Sink, Vices, Gasoline, Noro..... You Stole. Okay I guess not.)

"wtf is SABCD"
Tier ranking system derived from video games where S stands for Special (?) and goes above A. Recently clocked how it's more concise and indicative of quality/preference than doing a full x>y>z style ranking; works pretty neatly for music
