they’re working with a handful of different producers here including pharrell and the futuristics but feldy is still involved. idk who produced the new song burnwhieevrr it was they did a god awful job

Fuck me. Band is beyond dead. In my opinion, Skiba should just stay with Alkaline and keep going; at least they can still make a good album. I don't know why Blink still matters to me, but I guess they always will. Fuck this band.

see the thing is there’s a strong case to make that alk3 wouldn’t be nearly as good they are now if not for blink and i’d rather incredible alk3 and bad blink than mediocre alk3 and inactive blink since at least in this situation we end up with some of the best material between either band because let’s be real blink with tom wouldn’t be making anything near the caliber of the most recent trio album

Bored to Death is really the only song I liked on this one. Which is funny because the title described how I felt throughout the rest of it.

"Who produced this time?"
Matt Malpass/Tim Pagnotta did the new song. album is apparently gonna be half Feldy and half other producers but I don't know if that's from a reputable source. BIOMY sounds fantastic tho

yea its aiight still really really cant stand the production regardless of who’s doing it the guitars are sooo pushed to the back and the distorted effects on matt and marks voice clash with the more poppy upbeat instrumental
fans are def overreacting how bad it is tho

To each their own but ugh. That chorus is so dreadfully "Imagine Dragons" I don't think I could ever see myself enjoying it.

yea its pretty generic but the melody is alright i think an okay song is buried somewhere in the studio tricks but i just wish it was better mixed and executed better
heard a clip of them in the studio that actually sounded like 6/8 a few weeks back that i hope the albums much more in line with that

this is clearly a choice though, it's not bad production it's good production aimed at the synthy poppy sound which Mark is apparently on right now. still the best I've heard either of their voices and Trav's drums sound in years
we're not getting an album of 6/8 much as that would be fun, lol. according to Skiba it's 10 tracks long with a lot of dynamics and no two sound alike, sounds pretty tight to me

i mean i can tell that what they were going for production wise here just not a fan of how things are mixed and the way they went about it whatsoever
from what ive heard they basically wrote the album with the mindset of breaking the rule book of what blink is “supposed” to sound like, which in theory is a good approach but idk seems like its gonna be kind of a mess. guess we’ll see when it comes out i’m inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt as much as possible here but eh not too excited after this

not rlly worth "breaking the mold" if all it means is switching out traditional pop punk instrumentation for garbage radio pop cliches. feels like they're just gonna do what fall out boy did on their comeback album

Tom DeLonge needs to stay as far away from Blink as possible. The guy ruined that band in it's later years.
I for one embrace our new Feldman overlords.

Smoking classic Blink bra.
California is one of their best albums since Take Off Your Pants. Their s/t and Neighborhoods sucked.
