Aaron your Bowie ratings do not reflect that ranking. Low is the only one in yours that would be in my top 5, and maybe Ziggy.

for sec there, i was confused as to how you knew my name until I remembered you're on facebook as well

I think I've said in the past that Heathen holds a bit of sentimental value for me, which really adds to the enjoyment (the covers on the album bar Gemini Spaceship are a bit okay)

insane yes, but that's how it all works

it's like with Islands, people rag on it but goddamn if they worked a bit more on the jazz aspects, it would've been a bona-fide classic

Yeah I made sure it was you haha, and your Heathen love is understandable given what you've told me. It is a great album for sure.

My top 5 would be Low>Station to Station>Heroes>Ziggy=Blackstar

Islands is excellent. Not a popular opinion but I think it's just as good as Poseidon and Lizard. I might be biased because of the proto post-rock / neoclassical elements it had.

@TVC15: Happy to see The Next Day on there, pretty underrated.

the Islands lineup is greatly underrated, and I've never really understood the dislike for Boz's vocals

plus they did The Creator Has a Master Plan live, I can't ignore such an unlikely choice for a live set

Lizard would be in my top 5 Crimson without a doubt however

There's just something that Bowie captures on Young Americans that resonates so much with me that isn't as present on his others. It's hard for me to explain, especially when I'm trying to study for finals atm

I need to get on Young Americans and Hunky Dory already.

Lizard would probably make my top 5 Crimson records, but Court, Red, and Discipline are my 3 favorites.
