I like how they lessened the bm but not sure yet how to feel about all the guitar solos, sometimes they sound out of place but I sort of like them too.

Hawks how many times have you jammed? There's so much going on and a lot of rewarding detail to uncover in there. It totally lives up to their others, though obviously doesn't reach Sunbather levels I'll agree.

sometimes the solos really work with the chord progressions of the rhythm guitar and the melodies to actually build on the music, other times they're just lol rock soloooos.

I’ve only jammed twice so far but it’s just not sounding like my thing at all. First two tracks are awful. Canary Yellow is def the standout imo.

I don't even know what I would say is a standout, they're all really good and do different things which I appreciate. I really enjoyed the two chilled out tracks, Near and Night People.

it's certainly a lot better composed and arranged than New Bermuda, however i feel that it lacks the intensity or impact that album. overall it's another strong effort in a remarkably consistent series of albums, but i wouldn't say there's much of a marked difference on first listen.

It def lacks the impact/punch that all their previous stuff has. I feel like it’s just going through the motions with some shitty lifeless soft parts sprinkled throughout.

Dunno man, I've been on a BM discovery binge for the last month or so, and I found this to be extremely genuine and soothing.
