To be honest I could see this grow into something amazing for myself too. Like I said I've never really spent much time with her music yet, and I reserve 4.5s and 5.0s for albums that have stood the test of time for me. We'll see in the coming months where this will go! Exciting~! 😮🎇

I know. Just like with the Cocteaus last year I want to fix this Björk-shaped hole in my musical education and I'm starting to feel that this was a wise decision.

I go back and forth but currently Vespertine is my fave, it's a very intimate and understated record compared to this, this one is more flamboyant and perhaps immediate (although that probably varies depending on the individual).

Yeah I feel this too, and it really suits my current mood. Sounds totally incredible too, audio quality-wise. But the same can be said about this one for that matter.
