Those were my introduction too, but the band never really stuck with me. I actually found Unholy Confessions one of the weaker songs on the album which might sound controversial. The deeper cuts here is when it really shined imo

Yeah I can see that but since it was my first song by them, it always held a special place for me. My favorite off of this is actually Desecrate Through Reverence and nobody ever talks about it haha.

nah tbh Unholy Confessions is one of my least favorite tracks here too, not helped by the fact that they ALWAYS play it live.



Maybe not one of the worst, middle of the pack at best tho. Chapter Four, Eternal Rest, I Won’t See You Tonight, Remenissions, And All Things Will End, and Desecrate Through Reverence all easily clear it. Tbh Chapter Four is one of my absolute favorite A7X tracks. I love those leads in the final leg, some of Syn’s finest work. And opening with that batshit solo on Eternal Rest before giving way to that MEAN breakdown riff is actually fucking insane.



I wish they’d actually remaster this. Picturing this record with the production of something like HttK makes my panties damp.

Those are all great. I would add Second Heartbeat also.
