lol, I just found this in my stats book:
Continuous distributions are usually the result of some type of measurement such as:
* The length of each song on the latest Linkin Park CD

Yeah, one thing I will say, Rob has come a long way on the kit since HT.

Am I the only one who think ATS is the only post-Meteora that isn't garbage. Actually, some days it sounds even better than those first two nostalgia-fests.

Not the only one, but I certainly won't agree with you.

I mean, the only track on here I found worth listening to again is the one that sounds like a b-side from ATS: "Mark the Graves"

ATS is a mess, although with some good moments and potentially great ideas. They just screw it up a bit too often.
MTM is the one everyone hates but me, LT is about as weak as ATS only shorter & Hunting Party is a quite good comeback of their older days mixed with a bit of all the three predecessors in my eyes. So ATS is the one I like the least actually

Fair enough. One of the breaking points with this band for me is the lyricism. At no point have they been good lyricists, but this album is almost entirely "What I've Done" bad. I wouldn't throw down the gauntlet and say I will never give this band a chance again, but the fact is I still feel the same resentment toward them I felt the first time I heard that godawful piece of shit.
I am just done with this band.

Hardly ever objected to their lyrics. Rather think they had some really good ones througout their career, but I always liked that simplicity and "What I've Done" isn't bad to me either. But I get your problem with them, wouldn't count on it changing for the better.

ATS coulda been their best if it weren't for those damn interludes, the useless intro track, and all those worthless political speeches sampled into the songs..

Those interludes enhance the experience for me and I have no idea why people think they take away from it.

Point of the album was it's concept.... so, without the "political speeches sampled" it kinda takes away the point.
Just sayin

To be honest, the opening intro to ATS is actually pretty cool.

Yeah I just finished listening to it. I loved the winter holiday nostalgic feel I got out of it.
