You land as lightly as the new snow, cinematic

On to the melting boy, and melt away

You light as gently, you're so cinematic

Bathed in your radiance, I melt

[Bridge]

All the colors, upon leaving, all will turn to grey

It's really good. I wish I could get into the more moody goth drone AFI of that newest song. But I preferred when they were more like this even. The last album I know anything about is DecemberUnderground.

"The Great Disappointment refers to the event on October 22, 1844, when followers of William Miller expected the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, but he did not appear as predicted."

Well Golly!!!!!! I thought that was just an AFI song, I just figured I'd look up the lyrics. I know some about things and miracles and such. Must of sucked especially in October one of the best months to not see Jesus or even the Great Pumpkin.

I can remember, dreamt them so vividly

Soft creatures draped in white, light kisses gracing me

I can remember when I first realized

Dreams were the only place to see them

While I waited, I was wasting away

While I waited, I was wasting away

While I waited, I was wasting away

Hope was wasting away

Faith was wasting away

I was wasting away

Never, never wanted this, always wanted to believe

Never, never wanted this (how could I have become)

Could just be a coincidence but a lot of lyricists take things from novels or past events. I just typed in the 'Great Disappointment' and that was the first hit I got. It apparently was an actual event. I then decided to post some lyrics too in my hazed state.

@PunkerBlast I didnt realize I never replied on this thread, thanks for sharing. Because of you, I dove deep into the actual great disappointment event and it was super interesting reading.

There are documents of miracles happening, that one just didn't. So umm yeah this album is really good and led up to the peak of the hardcore/alternative rock phase. I guess.
