I'd switch Dirt/JoF and also Facelift/Rainier Fog (which is their weakest album imo). But I love seeing BGWTB up there. That album is definitely on par with the best of Layne's AIC and you cannot convince me otherwise.

Dirt and Jar of Flies are basically a coin flip tbh, both are far and away the best thing the band ever did for me.
And ya, totally agree on Black Gives Way to Blue. The t/t, Private Hell, Acid Bubble, Looking In View, and Last of My Kind are just as good as any of their best material, tbh Lesson Learned is really the only one I don’t care for. Take that song out and the record is a 5 imo

Whenever I feel worn out and tired, this sounds better than a "good" rating.

I think there’s plenty of full songs and moments that reach the heights of Dirt but no shot is this the better album. Dirt’s worst song is Godsmack, there’s bare minimum four songs here that are worse.
