i thought it was the worst of the series.
the original was full of campy B-movie sci-fi cliches (and freaking richard dean anderson), atlantis had a great cast, but universe seemed a tad forced.

I always thought it had potential (not that it was ever fully realised before the series was cancelled). It almost seemed like the original idea started out one way, and the studio/channel/whatever was pushing it back in the SG-1 direction. The whole cut-off-from-humanity thing was brilliant. Until they reconnected to humanity.

I don't think I've even seen the last few episodes. I was pretty excited about the whole "This race was advanced enough to build a planet" but disappointed they never got a chance to see it through.

rush and young were really the only compelling characters.

I loved Rush. Mainly cause Carlyle is an amazing actor.
I didn't mind Eli, and some of the chubby science guys (can't remember their names; there were like what, three of them?) were humorous at times. But yeah, not much else.
