Yea I just wish he was more personal like in Setbacks. His rapping sucked back then but with a lot of what he was saying, you could really tell he'd be dead if he wasn't doing that shit.
but Habits and Contradictions is still pretty great. Blessed is so crayy.

Hands on the Wheel is so good. Like ASAP's verse goes so well.
LITTLE BIT O' SMOKE, LITTLE BIT O' COKE, AND WE ON THEM pillllls
and o yeaLollipop is such a weird pop song, haha. It's not even just typical "omg auto-tuned R&B wannabe", it's just sounds like it could be a song from another planet.

as a cultured Rap Listener and Steven Wilson/Karnivool fan (I like any real rock music) i find it really annoying when people like this Lil Wayne GARBAGE and quoting his lyrics demonstrates my Music Knowledge

I like this album. It's pretty good in my opinion. It's not Carter 3 good, but it's still good. I really really like Mirror, and if you actually listen to the lyrics in How to Love, it becomes more relatable/personal; change your perception and the song isn't as awful as maybe first listen. I didn't have a problem with How to Love from the first listen, dare say I even liked it. Then finally actually listening to the lyrics I can say I like the song.

^ Yeah, I think Mirror is a relatively solid pop song. And The View is one of the best songs on the album and it's a bonus track, haha.

also, the worst part about this album is that Wayne KNOWS it has shitty beats for the most part, he never makes an attempt to reach out for quality producers and got a bunch of no-names.

Yo I just realized today how good Lollipop is. C3 isn't as consistently well executed as C2 but it's so diverse and weird it's really growing on me

@Idnuf: Yeah, that's one of the bigger appeals of Tha Carter III. His crazy persona finally comes to its fruition and it is really diverse. And some of the beats you mistake for being bad just end up being so weird and enjoyable in their own rights.
then you just have some bad beats, though.
Lollipop is such a good pop song in such a weird way, tho.
