Butcher's Hook is such an odd ball. Not in a good way. Doesn't sound like slipknot and has always been on of their least interesting songs imo.

Disagree obviously. I think the fact that it doesn’t sound like them, but is them, makes it inherently interesting.

I also like Snuff, though I know I seem to be in the minority here.

I would like Snuff if it were not from my band in serial killer masks and jump suits

But that's what makes it so unexpected.

That's not a good unexpected, though. That's like throwing in a romantic subplot to my horror movie. Stop it.

I agree with my bro Lucca here. Snuff would be cool, if it wasn't a SlipKnot song. Fact is, with AHIG they sold out completely. I hope their new album will be good, since it seems it'll be their last. They managed to stay at least decent until now, I don't want to see them fall flat on their face like Disturbed.

Snuff is "ok" because Corey's vocals carry it. Instrumentally it's really boring. One of my least favorites from AHIG.

Wait, their new album is gonna be their last?

Also I hope it's as heavy as Corey has been saying.

Shawn said it'll be their last. Already bought the tickets for the Bologna show lol. Slipknot with Trivium, Amon Amarth, Lacuna Coil, Testament and Eluvetie on June 27th, 2019

Shawn and Corey contradict each other all the time. It's all typical PR. I don't buy that it's the last one for a second.

Yeah I've learned to not trust a damn thing Corey says at this point. It's all talk.

And do we even know what happened with Joey? Last I heard he wasn't legally allowed to discuss it so everything is still super under wraps. Besides, Jay is a beast so I'm not even mad.

Yea Joey developed transverse myelitis and lost some use of his left leg and couldn't drum while recovering and Slipknot dumped him for Jay.

How is it still under wraps? He got sick and only 2 members came to visit him in the hospital and they unceremoniously dumped him. On a happier note, he's made quite the recovery and his new band fucking smokes.
