oh okay andcas so if it's popular/mainstream then it's not "real hip-hop"
I lol every time someone tells me they hate mainstream hip-hop, yet they'll mention "real hip-hop" albums that were popular back in their day.
Album is great. Too many people are too hung up on what real hip-hop is despite not really knowing the answer themselves.

drake was good and had talent when he was a mixtape artist.him having talent and signing to a major label and choosing to dumb down his skills for wealth and popularity is why he is a perfect example of what is wrong with hip hop.you should cringe and vomit at the quality of music he is releasing at retailers.to me hip hop is culture,art and the expression of self raw,unaltered and uncut no holds barred.
