All those years that I listened to Rush, I always thought they were a powerful trio with each member respecting the role of the other ones. But I always underestimated Lifeson's share. These days I'm revisiting the band's back catalogue and, after all these years, Alex is finally presenting his self to my ears in the most distinctive way... Jacob's Ladder and Natural Science have some amazing guitar stuff, almost philosophical and apocalyptic.
