the only songs from here that I like are Catalyst and When They Come For Me (even if the lyrics on WTCFM are terrible)

This is a grower, for sure. It took me about 3 years to get the penny to drop.

I might give this a higher rating if I gave it more time, which I don't really have. But I honestly doubt I would give it higher than a 3 or something.

I hated MtM and honestly, Living Things was just a total mess. They tried doing the whole roots thing with MtM-ATS thing and it fucking sucked. They really need to pick one and fucking stick with it. Victimized felt cool at times but then seemed way too ridiculous becuase he was screaming in it for no reason. It was way too forced and I think that was them trying to get the old fans back. Didn't really work for me. They had some songs that were ok, I guess but not a really good album.

Was just jamming A Thousand Suns the other day and it was still a nice album to listen to. I really wish they did the harder stuff like Hybrid, Meteora, and the only decent song from Minutes To Mindnight, Given Up.

LT worked really well for me. First half was the better album, mind.

Still miles better than MtM.

Still don't know why this album got the praise that it got. It doesn't deserve a 66 on Metacritic.

Because, if you actually take out on what they were trying to do and forget it's Linkin Park, it's a solid record.

I admire what they're trying to do, and I'll admit, it is a step in the right direction, but it was just an overall bland record. Every time I try and listen to this I almost fall asleep.

I still love this. It's really unique, it flows so well, and showcases the band's maturity. It's unfortunately that they took a step with downward Living Things

Robot Boy is bland as hell, and The Messenger sees Chester's voice strain too much.

Listened to every LP album again yesterday and these were my impressions of the album. Blackout is a kick-ass track though.

Not really a fan of Blackout, granted though it is the only song with Chester screaming in it in this album.

I was too but since they were my favorite band at the time I gave it a chance. And it grew a lot.
