This convo is actually putting me in a Beatles mood though, so I might have to jam this again tonight. It's been quite some time

Can’t beat ‘em.
I don’t know which album is best but I do know there is an almighty chunk that are absolutely essential and can easily be considered for best of all time.
No other band comes close.

yeah what Gal said last page. There's a weird dark/somber undercurrent to this album that just kind of bottles up and explodes with day in the life

She’s Leaving Home, Kite and Day in the Life there is but the album is a reinvigorating, life affirming blast of positivity and hope.

I go several months, even up to a year without listening to The Beatles but every time I return, I binge them like no other band.

I refuse to believe Johnny's favorite Beatles album is Magical Mystery Tour and yes it's true that if it were anyone else with this opinion besides J-boy I wouldn't even feel the need to point this out but I haven't tossed unwarranted skepticism his way in a while so here you go buddy, happy November!

MMT is easily the strongest Beatles album song-for-song and the only other two in the conversation are Revolver and Rubber Soul I am honoured to have soaked up some small modicum of the bad faith you usually reserves for marathoning stacks of contemp albums that plainly exclude you from their target audience is this an early New Year's resolution

I’m a big fan of Rubber Soul myself, but all make me feel good vibes
|
| |
It is not my fault that mediocre music is more accessible now that it ever has been. (Rubber Soul is a very acceptable #1)

MMT is a pretty based pick. Rubber Soul however is not.

This one might be a 4. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite, Day in Life are goated

Ringo singing one of the greatest songs of all time.
Hendrix on stage smashing straight into the t/t like an absolute lad.
