i think shallow grave has a better feel to it than this, it's a much more endearing record. i mean both records are obviously damn good, but i think everything about shallow grave is slightly better.

My opinion probably isn't that valid when it comes to folk etc. but I think this is a million times better than Shallow Grave. The raspy vocals, hooks, clever chords... everything is just amazing here.

The best live moment is probably right near the end of "King of Spain" when the whole thing slows down and Kris goes "I wanna be the..." and you can hear the whole audience singing to the climax with him before he hits back into the outro.
