I've heard a lot of Genesis in my life but have never sat down for a full album. I saw this for 5 bucks and figured what the hell, best purchase ever.

I'd pay big bucks for a blu-ray of a complete live show for this tour (preferably a show w/ Watcher and Musical Box in the set)

Or even the Milton Keynes 82 show, a show that the band regrets not documenting.

I only own a cheap-sounding bootleg of The Lamb live (somewhere in my collection). Oh and I also have the whole story of Rael from Genesis Archives Vol.1 1967-75.

Yeah, I used to download some bootlegs a few years back before I started collecting vinyl (therefore, getting live bootlegs when I can afford them) and I'm sure at one point I heard The Lamb and other material live more than their studio variations.

Unfortunately, the live show on the Archives (I think I talked about this on another thread or far back on this page) is edited (Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett redid their parts, it's notable especially due to Gabriel's deeper voice) and "It" is the studio version with reverb and the new vocals by Gabriel. The entire live show unedited is available and I'd advise you to search for it. It's a solid live show, warts and all.

Damn that's interesting, I would like to put my hand on it.

Annnd I was not aware for the edited parts on the Archives...

Yeah, the live show they used was recorded for the King Biscuit Live Hour or something along the lines of that. There's a site that documents ever live/studio, etc. recording Genesis and any past and present member has recorded.

Here's the live show in question, but I don't know if you're for torrenting or not. I've used this site for years and it provides the best quality recordings available http://www.genesis-movement.org/php/showdetails.php?uid=5340

For this show, they encored with both Watcher of the Skies and The Musical Box, which were omitted from the Archives box set. The show was also put out on vinyl by bootleggers, mainly known as "As Through Emerald City" released by The Amazing Kornyfone bootleg label.

Thanks a lot for your first link. As for the second one, I took the decision to not downloading anything cos my comp is fragile regarding the viruses. I confess I'm tempted though. It must be impressive with Watcher of the Skies and The Musical Box as the encore.
