Holy fuck so many fives

Yeah, I think it's a great album.
It's rare to hear pure pop music this good in my opinion. =)

You know what was better pop music? Fucking Dog Problems.

Ah, they're both beautiful to me. I don't compare them because I can listen to and enjoy both equally.
Besides, a lot of the songs on Aim & Ignite feel like they would fit into Dog Problems perfectly. So
really, comparing one to the other is sort of like trying to hate one or the other or find lesser
qualities in them.
I mean, some moments of Aim & Ignite are leagues better than Dog Problems and vice versa.

I listened to Dog Problems for the first time in a month today and it was still so good. Scores better than this one every level.
|

I don't think so, at least not for me. =/
Production on Aim & Ignite, while not perfect sounds far less flat. As do the harmonies. It's much better having harmonies of Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost and Jack Anatoff then just Nate Ruess' voice built over his own. Sounds far more tonic. =)

The hooks on this album are much better

name one

The vocals, the detail in the string section down to its bone, the production but I think overall
Dog
Problems is a more cohesive album but in my opinion Aim & Ingite is a more fleshed out album.
More range and texture in the vocals thanks to actually using multiple voices instead of piling on
Nate's voice on top of itself, the production in stereo sounds better separated to me, you can hear
both the guitars and the strings individually play out their elements which at times was hard to
hear
in Dog Problems, in my opinion. So really, moments like the outro to 'At Least I'm Not as Sad (As I
Used to Be) or the building levels of backing vocals on the second verse of 'Benson Hedges' those
little details bring out the level of progression way more clearly than Dog Problems ever did.
So those things. That's just my opinion of course. I'm a huge fan of Nate Ruess either way. Like,
it's subjective at the end of the day. I prefer some songs on Aim & Ignite over Dog Problems and the
other way around too.

The climax/second half/actually the whole song of "Be Calm."
|
| |
Oh yeah 'Be Calm' is so awesome! Love the first chorus of that song where you can hear Nate holding back, it's so good. =)
Think I might listen to Aim & Ignite now actually.

Yeah I need to listen to it beginning to end with my awesome headphones. It's been months. I've only heard individual songs on shuffle or a few in a row at most in my car, but not all at once.
|
| |
Whenever I hear one song from it, it makes me want to listen to them all. =)
|
| |
Just heard their new song, I like it. Is there a chance I'd like this too?

That depends on which new song. This is worth checking out no matter what, but especially if the song was "Carry On." It's more likely you're talking about "We Are Young" though. Just listen to this. It's a different but perfect sound.
