I always hear Mastodon being compared to Gojira. This is one of the first times i havent seen any comparisons. anyways this album is okay, nothing special. It doesn't really appeal to me. its okay, not a favorite though.

I spent a whole day listening to Mastodon a few months ago and concluded that Leviathan is best. What comes after that, I don't know. Either this or Blood Mountain.

This band is surprisingly consistent though, I agree their discography is pretty much 4s all around (Save a 3.5 or so for Remission )
