"Violin and foot-percussion interpretation of Discordance Axis' classic grindcore album"
Amazing.

Imagine getting into this before really getting into the actual album. Because that might be me

Well glad you did, pretty much everything Jon Chang (vocalist) has been a part of is rad. Check Gridlink, Haiyano Daisuke and No One Knows What the Dead think if you haven’t!

@danielito thx dude I love it

For sure man.

Also the Evangelion references on this are a nice touch.

Check Gridlink [2]. Longhena pretty much turned me around on grind after years of mindlessly hating it. So fucking good.
I think the Eva references continue on that one too

The last track scared the shit out of me as I assumed A Leaden Stride was the closer. It certainly sounds like it should have been.

This whole thing is a master stroke. One of the best heavy albums, period. Jouhou is right up there with it too.

This album is a pain the ass. I love it, respect it, and admire it, but good lord I can never bring myself to listen to it.

It’s absolutely perfect. Worship at its altar. It’s so abrasive yet so beautiful. Those rich guitar chords, those blast beats and jazzy fills, those fucking terrifying vocals and poignant lyrics, the RHYTHMS. I don’t see how it doesn’t sound good to any heavy music lover. GENIUS.

It's not hard to tell why anyone, including heavy music lovers, wouldn't like the vocals.

The musicianship is masterful, however.
