battery is cool as is the first couple of minutes of master of puppets ...and orion is a good instrumental but the other 5 tracks and the majority of MoP the song is pretty average tbh despite their legendary status

I disagree, but only a little. The main problem for me is that I overplayed it SO much in my earlier youth so the songs got a bit stale. Add to that the fact that I've been discovering simply better music recently...

band has only released two albums above average in my opinion, neither of which were exceptional ...and other than that have a series of just plain average albums to the goddamn awful

Good review. The only thing I disagree with is the take on The Thing that Should Not Be. That's personally one of my favorite songs on the album. And hearing it live is enough to make your organs explode.
