Mylo Xyloto is the only album of theirs I've never listened to. I straight up love 'paradise' and 'charlie brown' though so I should probably.

It's also the only album of theirs I don't own on vinyl, as I've only ever seen it in a ridiculous deluxe edition.
I'm a bit hesitant to dive in because of that Rihanna feature. The Beyonce one doesn't exactly work for me.

This is a classic, especially if you factor in Prospekt's March.

Somehow smashing Lovers in Japan and Reign of Love together made them better together than they would be apart

This is the album that singlehandedly saved their reputation. Imagine if they'd gone straight from X&Y to Mylo...

Good, as far as modern pop music goes.

This would be a hard 4.5 if every song was as good as the last four, "Death and All His Friends" in particular is stunning

Yeah that's one of their best songs.

If you really want to get into this album’s potential, consider what it could have been if you left the worst songs off in favor of the better Prospekt's March tracks . I have a playlist version that is pretty much the only way I choose to listen to this anymore. It's a stone cold 5 tbh.
