beyond goes harder and that's what some metal fans like, but eternal kingdom is a damn unique album in its right, great themes and interesting instrumental interplay for a post-metal group

same, the bass tone their is still one of my favourites. I guess if EK had a song or two in place of the interludes it'd prob would've been taken more in consideration over the long run but yea.

EK seems under-appreciated generally and it stands alone as an important part of CoL discog, but then I love TB for similar reasons.

Man EK was Luna seeing the billion copycats behind them and showing them you don't need to be drowned in reverb with four delay pedals and eight eight-minute tracks to be atmospheric and still fucking crushing.
They laid waste to post metal with EK, and it never recovered.
