There are great double albums and there are great 15 minute albums. It’s really just in how you use the time. I don’t care if it’s a 2 hr long album if it keeps me engaged the whole time with interesting and dynamic songwriting.

It is quite reasonable to never want a Mastodon album to pass the hour mark, fortunately the band understand the benefits of restraint, so we probably won't be subjected to such things. Right? Riiiiight?
