Closing arguments:
This album sucks in comparison to other MM albums 😎
And it's not indie.
Thank you for coming to my lecture.

I listen to real indie rock bands like Viper the Rapper and Throbbing Gristle.

Education is one of my least favs here. That stretch of We’ve Got Everything-Education is one of the worst stretches of MM period imo.
But Spitting Venom is soooo fucking good. Top 10 MM. little Motel is an amazing song too. Overall, really good album. Better than Good News.

Same level as Good News. Better than M&A though.

It's a collection of really good indie rock/alt rock songs. Not necessarily as true to Modest Mouse's identity, but good stuff.

Damn, not for me, but it is great.
Good News and Strangers are their worst. TLCW is their best, Long Drive is two.
|
| |
Probably agreed, Lark. Long Drive has some silly bits, but just enough great cuts to hold that spot firmly

"Good News and Strangers are their worst."
The usual take, of usually bad quality.
