What’s the point of a 1-5 scale if you’re not going to use the whole thing?

I support hating of all kinds even on stuff I like. It keeps the conversation interesting!

I don't give joke ratings, so you can count on my rating being my actual rating for this album.
"Lol I haven't heard this in probably 15 years. Didn't care for it like their earlier stuff but the 1.0 is a joke"

gonna do misdirect and parallax next, haven’t heard each in over a decade. curious how they’ve aged for me.

Album Rating: 4.5 | Sound Off
Hard as hell to actually rank them but after many years I think Parallax II might edge out Colors just slightly due to greater maturity, cohesiveness as a piece, and production quality albeit with a similar approach to what Colors set out to do - that said, The Great Misdirect is the most fun listen. Honestly it probably comes down to mood, Colors is one of the best written prog metal albums of that decade, if not the.

As far as aging:
TGM > Alaska = Colors. For me. Latter two scratch different itches so they’re equally fantastic in their own way
