Because you don't get to fully appreciate his incredible talent.
But yes, he is a big reason this is amazing as it's that southern accent that brings the raunchy flair to the already bluesy sound, the lyrics that give it meaning and those blistering screams that come right from the gut that give it true passion and emotional weight.
From the way you speak you sound like you're too closely correlating your opinion of him as a person and your opinion of him as a singer
