put in the context of 1992 - this was awesome following Metallica's black album, loved this at the time

it's only a 3.5 in the cold harsh light of hindsight though

Sorry, but Sweating Bullets is one of the most fucking infuriating songs I've ever heard from any of the Big 4, and it's just one of those rare songs that's always made me irrationally angry. This is the same band that made stuff like Hangar 18 and Black Friday, and now Dave is hamming it up with such a cheesy and ridiculous performance over that swing beat? No fucking thanks

I know I'm overexaggerating, but I really genuinely fucking despise that song

I love Sweating Bullets, it's so very Dave - and Dave is all, as we know

Their third best album for me, way ahead of 'Youthanasia' and the really half arsed 'So Far, So Good...'. I need to listen to the debut a bit more though.

yeah, it was always mood-based for me...between this and Youth, both are peak Friedman regardless of anything else.

listened to the debut and 'Kill em All' back to back yesterday - was interesting, a lot closer in quality than I remember.

I was definitely underrating 'Killing is My Business' - starts really strong in particular.

I'd rate 'Countdown' higher myself purely for nostalgia though
