I have always had some problems with Inaudible, Keel Timing and Bedhead but i must admit i have softened up a bit to them after listening to this again a month ago or so. Needless to say this album is beautiful

Inaudible and Angel of Death are def great Slex, but Obstacle is where it's at for me. The entire second half of the song gives me legitimate chills, starting with "In the light, you arrive, as the curtain closes" and especially by the time he sings "I don't want to lose control / Fall like that again" combined with those guitars. So moving and powerful. Really every song here is at least good/"very pretty" though, with the lyrics, production, and thematic interconnectivity being the things that consistently elevate the entire LP for me.
